Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Movement has always been my medicine, and I believe it can be yours too. My approach blends science-backed fitness methods—strength, cardio, mobility, yoga, and mindfulness—with somatic movement and soulful practices to create holistic programs tailored to each individual. With over 12 years of experience teaching fitness across cities like NYC, SF, LA, Boston, and Portland, I’ve worked everywhere from wellness resorts to private, high-profile clients, creating customized programs focused on nurturing sustainable health and balance. Beyond movement, I’m passionate about guiding others to reconnect with their spirit and cyclical nature while navigating life’s many transitions, including loss and grief.
My path here has been anything but linear. Growing up, I wore a back brace for scoliosis and dreamed of becoming a professional dancer. After years of training and a BFA in dance from NYU- three foot surgeries ended that chapter, but it opened the door to a new one. I was recruited by a renowned Pilates instructor in NYC for my first fitness job, which sparked a passion that led me to spend the next decade as a senior instructor at SoulCycle and Barry’s, and a virtual instructor for barre3. Along the way, I learned that movement isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about not doing it alone, finding ways to sustain a relationship to movement throughout life’s changes, and everyone having unique needs.
My personal challenges have shaped the work I do today. Navigating a disordered relationship with fitness and diet culture, overcoming hormonal struggles through diet and lifestyle changes, and forever being interested in the mind body relationship - I committed myself to helping clients find sustainable, healthy ways to care for their bodies and minds. In my early 30’s grieving the loss of my three beloved cats at three different times inspired me to expand my focus outside of fitness. I became a certified pet loss and bereavement counselor, and got my masters in Intuition Medicine, now offering support to others navigating grief.
Today, I combine over a decade of fitness experience with certifications as a NASM personal trainer, nutrition coach, women’s health coach to take a holistic approach, blending strength, mobility, and mindfulness practices to help people build strong, healthy bodies while honoring their unique journeys. Whether through movement, wellness, or grief support, I’m here to meet you where you are and help you grow.
Aside from my certifications and trainings, I believe in honoring my beloved mentors and the folks I've learned from and continue to learn from:
Francesca McCartney Janet Fitzgerald Melanie Griffith Amanda Grant Sal Anthony Lisa Schale-Drake Rachael Maddox
Just to name a few!
So much love and gratitude to you if you're reading this. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for you.
I look forward to continue my education, learning, and experience and am a big believer in making sure I am working within my scope of practice. I have a large network of people I can refer you to if we aren't a fit or if it comes up during our time together.
